Airport Directory (AFD) Changes For October 22, 2009

Effective 10-22-2009, the FAA Airport Facility Directory (AFD) is being released with a number of changes.  58 airports have been dropped from the directory.  66 airports have been added to the directory.

Of the existing airports, five have changed identifiers.  Eight airports changed UNICOM or CTAFF frequencies.  Forty airports announced changes in the local magnetic variation.  190 airports now have new managers.
