View northeast from the Owl Canyon Gliderport, located about 15 miles north of Fort Collins, Colorado. The airport is operated by the Colorado Soaring Association. It is located east of County Road 7, and north of Hackamore Road (county road 76) in Larimer County. The area offers many soaring opportunities for glider pilots year-round, including thermal and convergence lift over the high plains, and excellent wave soaring in the wave window.
