Cameras on the Avionics Specialists hangar include views of the eastern plains of Colorado, Berthoud, Longs Peak and the Mummy Range. Most weather in this region arrives from the west. The west and northwest cameras often capture lee waves and lenticular clouds. It is common to see high cirrus clouds and lower cumulus clouds moving in opposite directions. During the summer, thunderstorms can be dramatic and severe.
